I recently got some photos from my Dad when I went up to the mountains to visit him for his 80th birthday. This shot is my grandfather and my grandmother, and the little baby is my dad. I love that flapper style my grandma is sporting. My grandma was a major influence on my life, she was always making things and I'm guessing she made both her dress and my dad's baby clothes in this picture. I used to love visiting her because she would always give me a "special" pillowcase - one that she had sewn and embroidered with flowers or birds. She was the most creative person I've ever met, and she has inspired me in my own creative endeavors since I was a baby.
Thanks Grandma!
Great photo, Janel!!! I love that chemise dress too! Everyone looks so happy!
