Where have I been the last few days? Dealing with these!
Look! They're here!!!! and they look like books!
Further evidence that they are, indeed, books!
Here's where the work has been going on....
And further evidence that work was actually going on!
If you pre-ordered the book, your book will most likely ship out on Tuesday the 13th (Monday is a holiday). If you are an international buyer I will be contacting you today with your shipping invoice. Once that invoice is paid, your books will ship. If you won a copy of the book in the blog contest, or you were a test knitter or sample knitter, your books will probably ship out on the 20th (sorry about that, I have to go to Rhinebeck right in the middle of all this excitement!), possibly sooner, but I can't promise.
If you didn't pre-order or win a copy of the book, never fear, you can purchase them through your LYS, or online at a bookseller like Amazon
, or through the Rustling Leaf Press website. Please support your LYS whenever possible, the local yarn stores bring us all kinds of good things to see and touch and we want them to stay in business!
OK, book news is over, more autumn! I know, it's just what you've been waiting for... heheh

Hey! what's that?! It's a really cute bag I received in the mail from my good pal Una Walker over at Wooly Walkers. She is a fantastic felt and needlepunch artist and she combined both into this great bag that arrived just in time for me to sling it over my shoulder and sashay around the neighborhood snapping pictures of trees!
I hope your autumn is shaping up nicely, I'm a bit on the busy side - shipping etc. and just about to leave for NYS Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck! I've never been there, but I hear they have some really good leaves there. If you're going to be at Rhinebeck, Toni Neil at The Fold and the Dye Dreams booth will have signed copies of my book there.
And... I haven't been totally slacking in the knitting department, I do have some knitting to show you all but I'll save it for tomorrow.
And now tha the books have arrived, the blog contest has ended. Thanks to everyone who made comments, it's nice to know that people actually do read my blog. Just because the contest is over though, doesn't mean you have to stop commenting! It really makes my day to hear from you.
There are 3 patterns you haven't yet seen (I think, maybe it's only 2). I'm going to leave them as a surprise for when you see the book!
I know I still have some book prizes to award but it takes a while for me to go through all the comments. I'll try to award those in the next few days.
And now, it's back to the worktable, I've got a lot of books to ship!
