when you see a picture like this in our house. Our cat Blackie decided the dogs weren't so bad after all... Annabelle, the little sweetheart dog, of course was generous in sharing her bed and warmth.
And speaking of cold, it has been quite cold for us lately. We live in an 80 year old house that has no heat and very little insulation. Normally this is not a problem since we do live in So. California, However when the temperatures dip into the 30's and 40's at night, the house really turns into an icebox. We've been known to wake in the morning and be able to see our breath. And since we live in a little canyon, it takes a long time for the sun to touch our house and for anything to warm up (a major advantage in the summer!)
So I've decided that baking brownies is a good way to warm up today... warm and good smelling!
On the fiber front... I've been sampling. Here are some skeinlets. Taos and Hyacinth BFL.
