I've actually felted Superwash by using regular laundry detergent (rather than a wool-sensitive one) and running through a hot wash and dryer. It was a hand-spun, hand knitted vest and I'm glad that it's too big to wear now, because it really hurt to see what I did to it.

But if my experience helps you out, then maybe it was worth it.

Your new yarns are GORGEOUS! Is the orange/pink one Indian Wedding? I have designs for my handspun from that roving, to try corderoy using the leftover warp from my weaving class last weekend.

Janel you are such a glorious overachiever! I love the yarn-the socks and the plying tips but, for the culturally challenged, who is the guy in the Vegas pictures?
